Mary Williams Hyde, a graphic and web designer, who grew up on a large cattle ranch near Bly, Oregon, lives in Klamath Falls, Oregon. She has been a professional photographer since 1972, and uses Lightroom, Photoshop, and a wide variety of Photoshop plugins for post-processing. She is a master user of all of these programs. She currently takes photographs with a Nikon D4s and a Nikon D850 with a Nikon Z9 on back order, and uses a 150-600 Sigma lens with 1.4 TC on the D850, allowing her to enjoy a new passion for bird photography. For 32 years, she has traveled throughout the Great Basin desert country of eastern Oregon, northern Nevada, northeast California, and parts of Idaho, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado taking certainly two million photos documenting the people who keep the old buckaroo/vaquero/Californios traditions of horsemanship and stockmanship.  She also has a total of more than 800,000 followers on Facebook on her three main pages, making her the most “liked” photographer of any cowboy culture of the west and of rodeo photography.
